American Made Motorcycles
The debate still goes on as to whether we have a true American made Motorcycle on the market. Now there are allot of folks out there that put together kit bikes with SS engines so we're talkin manufactures here. From what I've read HD only uses, at best, 50% of parts made in the US. Why not manufacture stuff overseas; they're sellin bikes in China and India? So far Victory seems to be the leader in this category with about 80% of their stuff made in the good ole US of A. While Harley markets image and tenure along with their motorcycles (the Sportster has been around since 1957 and is the oldest production vehicle on the planet), Victory seems to take the trophy for The REAL American Made Motorcycle. And you can't tell by the prices. Some of their stuff designed by Ness is so futuristic it's mind blowin but their cruiser line is bad to da bone. Stats on their V-Twin boast 106 cubic inches producing 97 HP and 113 foot pounds of gut wrenching torque. I like the Hammer S. If I had da doe, dat's da way I would go.
